Harvest Happy Hour Recap

More than 80 young professionals came out to Bar Lurcat on Thursday, November 17th for some networking, drinks and to raise money to eliminate hunger in the Twin Cities. Attendees enjoyed happy hour drink specials, delicious appetizers and a silent auction, in addition to connecting with fellow LEADers who are passionate about improving our community for all residents.

Candidate Conversation

Hosted by BringMeTheNews, Candidate Conversation is a live, interactive debate between Minnesota gubernatorial candidates Mark Dayton, Tom Emmer and Tom Horner. The LEAD Project is proud to partner with Citizens League to bring this exciting event to young professionals in the Twin Cities.
The program will be produced as a unique conversation-style debate, moderated by Rick Kupchella, where Minnesotans can participate in an interactive question and answer session through BringMeTheNews’ social networks by using the event hashtag #debateMN.

The BOOM Benefit

The BOOM Benefit promises to be an exciting night of fireworks and fun. Enjoy a spectacular river front view of the Mississippi River during the Aquatennial Fireworks show presented by Target.
All event proceeds will benefit The Smile Network International, an organization that funds surgical missions and provides necessary supplies needed to repair birth defects. The surgeries are free of charge and are available to children who would otherwise go untreated.
LEAD’s goal for The Boom Benefit is to raise enough funds to improve the lives of eight children in need.
