1. The LEAD Board researches potential organizations.
2. The LEAD Board analyzes applications to determine fit.
3. The LEAD Board votes for a sponsored nonprofit for each event throughout the year.
Once Selected
LEAD will take responsibility for the majority of the event’s logistics.
Organizations will be responsible for providing the following support:
- Invite young individuals involved with your organization to the event.
- Provide speaker (board chair/director/client that benefited from your service) or short video on organization to air at event.
- Provide board or staff to be at event for LEAD members to meet.
- Give testimonial after party for LEAD website.
- Provide marketing materials (sign-up sheets, banner, poster, or powerpoint on organization).
- Staff for table and volunteer sign up.
- Provide year end report.
- Provide a copy of its exemption letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
- Work on follow-up plan/messaging to engage LEAD members in volunteer, board, or other positions at the organization.
- Provide periodic and/or final report on its use of resources provided by LEAD.
