Process

Once LEAD selects a sponsored organization - the fun begins! We handle the event logistics while your organization works to rally your troops and dazzle the event's attendees.

Selection

1. The LEAD Board researches potential organizations.
2. The LEAD Board analyzes applications to determine fit.
3. The LEAD Board votes for a sponsored nonprofit for each event throughout the year.

Once Selected

LEAD will take responsibility for the majority of the event’s logistics.

Organizations will be responsible for providing the following support:

  • Invite young individuals involved with your organization to the event.
  • Provide speaker (board chair/director/client that benefited from your service) or short video on organization to air at event.
  • Provide board or staff to be at event for LEAD members to meet.
  • Give testimonial after party for LEAD website.
  • Provide marketing materials (sign-up sheets, banner, poster, or powerpoint on organization).
  • Staff for table and volunteer sign up.
  • Provide year end report.
  • Provide a copy of its exemption letter from the Internal Revenue Service.
  • Work on follow-up plan/messaging to engage LEAD members in volunteer, board, or other positions at the organization.
  • Provide periodic and/or final report on its use of resources provided by LEAD.
